What makes Release Technique Different

Release Technique™ is based on the idea of translating a full-body massage experience into something you can replicate on a roller and balls. In its best form, a rolling session will last for at least 60 minutes and include techniques that span the length of the whole body.

Our proprietary techniques are available a-la-carte for quick physical maintenance, but expect the fullest expression of self-care, stress relief and whole body wellness with our complete classes.

Why Release?

It’s not just that you’re rolling, Fam. It’s how you’re rolling. Release Technique teaches the value of going inward, dropping into a deeper understanding with your body and taking control of it. Soften your tissues to soften your whole state of being, to exercise more effectively, to become friends with your physical body or to keep yourself moving and fluid on a regular basis.

Take charge of your aches and pains

The right kind of rolling encourages the deepest body awareness. Let go of your fear. Be in control of your muscular aches and pains by learning how to go toward and work through them.

Manage your stress through self massage

When done in a specific way, rolling is a tremendous teacher of unwinding the nervous system and releasing mental and emotional stress. Let this practice be a moving meditation for a more balanced state of mind.

Adopt the ultimate self care routine

Be kind, patient and practice self-love. Protect your time, especially when your world feels busy or chaotic. Release Technique™ can easily become your go-to for self care. If you don’t have an exercise practice, don’t care much for sweating and moving rigorously, Release Technique is the movement practice that keeps you feeling mobile and good.

Move with efficiency and ease

Rolling properly to eliminate tension in the fascia will bring optimal function to the muscles, making your workouts, your dog walks, your steps upstairs and your gardening hour easier. Tense, tight muscle tissue can’t access strength as easily as soft, neutral muscle tissue. Use Release Technique to maintain your strength practice without creating injury.
