Release your own Psoas in under 2 minutes
You can RELEASE your own Psoas…pso what?! …And free your hips & lower back, and even activate your core.
Your Psoas is your main hip flexor muscle, it’s also a part of your deep core and attaches onto your lower spine. Think about that for a second…it’s a hip, back and core muscle all at once. You know when it’s the tightest? When you’re sitting. And sometimes (read: often) when you stand up after sitting for a long time, your Psoas brings that shortness with it, inhibiting it from lengthening completely in your stance. This can easily result in hip flexor and low back pain, as well as a sleepy core and pelvic floor.
While you can see there are many parts of the Psoas, the part we’re going to access together is where the Psoas Major and Iliacus meet each other. Grab your tennis ball and meet me for this technique. I can’t wait to hear about your before and afters!
What’d you think? Did the side you worked feel different from the one you hadn’t yet?
Is your body craving deeper release?
